CONNECT WITH YOUR BABY DURING PREGNANCY

During pregnancy, this is a key time that the baby develops a bond with their mother. They learn how to feel emotions, their food likes and dislikes, how suck and swallow, and so much more.

Here are the best tips on connecting with your baby during pregnancy:

 

  1. Talk and sing to your baby! They can feel their mother’s voice and vibrations, and will help make personal connections with they are in infancy.
  2. Gently touch, rub, and massage your belly. They can feel you, too.
  3. Respond to your baby’s kicks! They develop key emotions when they are in your belly. They are testing them out- respond to them, encourage them, and let them learn your voice!
  4. Play music for your baby. They’re listening and learning!
  5. Give yourself time to reflect. Go for a walk, have a warm bath, and think positively about your new baby. Not like we’ve said this enough so far, but they are feeling whatever your feeling. If you feel calm and positive, they feel calm and positive. If you feel anxious and stressed, they feel anxious and stressed. Surround yourself with things that make you happy, calm, and positive.
  6. Have an ultrasound! There are many places that offer 4D ultrasounds. If you’re not sure what a 4D ultrasound is, you can basically SEE your baby. What they look like, the shape of their nose, etc. Already have some kiddos? Or maybe it’s you and your honey’s first time. Connect with your new baby and bring the rest of the family so they can also feel excited!!
